Dr. Jill Sullivan

Dr. Jill Sullivan
Dr. Sullivan was born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Miami in 2006 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2012. After practicing in Florida for 2 years, she relocated to Albuquerque, NM in the spring of 2014. Dr. Sullivan purchased BPCC (then known as Bernalillo Animal Clinic) from Dr. Shook in January of 2016.
Dr. Sullivan’s medical interests include preventative care, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and chronic pain management. In addition to conventional medicine, she also practices Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), including acupuncture, which provides more options for treating chronic diseases.
In her spare time, Dr. Sullivan enjoys running, golfing, and hiking as well as spending time with her husband, her son Harrison and a couple of pets – 1 dog named Ty and a cat named Weebles.
Dr. Megan Tatoris
Veterinarian
Dr. Tatoris was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Albion College in 2009. She went to veterinary school in the Caribbean Island of Grenada, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George University in 2013. She then moved to Albuquerque to be close to family and enjoy the weather and outdoor activities and has been practicing here ever since. Dr. Tatoris has been practicing with BPCC since April 2016.
Dr. Tatoris’s medical interests include preventative medicine, client education, critical care medicine, and senior wellness. She also has a special interest in exotics and will be happy to see your small pocket pets or reptiles.
In her spare time, Dr. Tatoris enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, Paint with Wine, as well as spending time with her husband, her son Rowan, her cat named Cow, and island dog, Callaloo – whose breed is “pot hound” (the Grenadian name for stray beach dogs).
Dr. Elyse Benham
Veterinarian
Dr. Benahm was born in Chicago, Illinois but moved to Alpharetta, Georgia at 10 years old. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Georgia in 2011 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2015. After practicing in Dahlonega, Georgia for 4 years, she got married and relocated to Boston, MA in the fall of 2019. After a very short time in Boston, Dr. Benham relocated again to Albuquerque, New Mexico in the fall of 2020.
Dr. Benham’s medical interests include preventative care and the client education that accompanies it, dermatology, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, and keeping our senior pets comfortable as they age. Dr. Benham also has an interest in exotic medicine and enjoys the challenges that it can bring.
In her spare time, Dr. Benham enjoys hiking, reading, visiting historical sites/monuments, and she is working on visiting all the national parks. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, dog (Pepper Ann), and cats (Pie and Miss Kitty). Dr. Benham is looking forward to meeting you and partnering with you to effect the best medical care for your pets!
Dr. Revee Garcia
Veterinarian
Dr. Garcia was born and raised in Albuquerque. She attended the University of New Mexico for her undergraduate studies where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then went to Washington State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Garcia’s medical interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, and preventative care. She is passionate about managing acute and chronic pain. In her spare time, Dr. Garcia loves to watch soccer, eat good food, and hike with her dog, Newt. She is currently trying to visit all of the U.S. National Parks.
Dr. Kristin Reger
Veterinarian
Dr. Reger spent most of her life in Florida, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida in 2010 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2015 (though she had never met Dr. Sullivan!). After completing a small animal rotating internship in Tallahassee, she relocated to Albuquerque, NM in the summer of 2016.
Dr. Reger’s medical interests include preventative care, client education, and tricky internal medicine cases.
In her spare time, Dr. Reger enjoys trying new foods, arts and crafts, video games, hiking, and spending time with her husband, son, and their dog, Charles.
